Screening Information

In accordance with New Jersey State law, all students will be offered a screening for height, weight and blood pressure unless documentation of a physical examination has been submitted for the student's current grade.  In addition to height, weight and blood pressure, the following screenings will be offered dependent on the student's grade:

  • Grade 9    -   Scoliosis
  • Grade 10  -   Vision
  • Grade 11  -   Scoliosis and hearing

If your student receives an annual well-child physical examination and you feel it is not necessary for Nursing Services to screen your student as noted above, please submit documentation stating such or you may "decline" screenings in the Genesis Parent Portal Medical Tab.
