TV Broadcasting Technology

Overview 

Television Broadcasting Technology 3 is the advanced course, challenging students beyond the first two levels. Examines the vocational experiences of working in a television production studio as well as advanced scripting and pre-production planning. Research-based script writing will be covered and incorporated into the production of a short documentary.  Narrative film making is also covered including production, scriptwriting and advanced editing.
 
This course meets both the Visual and Performing Arts and Career Technical Education graduation requirements.
 
 
Students can earn college credit through Rowan College at Burlington County via the College Acceleration Program (C.A.P.).
 
*As of the 2024-2025 school year, TV Broadcasting 1 and 2 have been phased out. 

Extra Curricular Activities

Lenape Digital Media

Lenape Digital Media

Lenape Digital Media is open to all students interested in learning more about digital media production. The club focuses on four content areas: Television, Film & Video, Photography and Graphic Design. "Lenape Live", a weekly television broadcast, is the flagship activity within Lenape Digital Media.  The club meets all year. Stop by ND-25 to see Mr. Ebbeson or Ms. Rakow if you are interested in joining.
 

Lenape District Television
Lenape District Television is the Educational Access Station for the Lenape Regional High School District.

LDTV Sports
  Students can be a part of LDTV's television production crew, which regularly broadcasts district sporting events and various school and community related programs.
